Big thanks to 77 WABC Radio for hosting a Veterans Day luncheon to honor our Veterans in New York City. Several Veteran community leaders received awards for their efforts supporting the Veteran community in New York City. The luncheon included a mix of Veterans, active-duty, and civilian supporters of the Veteran community. The event was headlined by singer & songwriter Tony Orlando. John Catsmitidis, the founder of Red Apple Group and owner of 77 WABC Radio, was present at the event to show his support for the Veteran community. 77 WABC Radio talk show host Curtis Sliwa was also in attendance. Several members of Veterans of New York were present at the event, including founder Colin O'Leary. The luncheon was held at the Empire Steakhouse in Midtown Manhattan on Tuesday, November 10th .
